Why Food for Fuel?
That is an excellent question. The reason I choose this name is because of my friend Rick. We were talking one day and he said to me I just look at food like it's fuel for my body. I eat what I need and leave out the unhealthy stuff. It won't help to my goal of being fit. I thought to myself, "but I love to eat". That's when it dawned on me: Food is for Fuel, Not for Enjoyment. Don't get me wrong we have taste buds for a reason but everyday when I would go out to eat I'd say to myself what do I feel like eating, better yet what do I feel like tasting? I realized I should be saying to myself, what octane of fuel do I want to put in my body? What will help me become more physically fit.

I have created this blog for accountability. I am hoping that my friends will read it every so often and help me keep myself accountable. I want people to call me out when I eat bad or when I haven't been working out enough. Let's see how it goes.
